About Jose Soto

Originally from Chicago, Jose Soto carries a deep passion for teaching God’s Word and equipping everyday believers to live on mission. After studying theology at Moody Bible Institute in Illinois, Jose answered the call to serve in full-time ministry, bringing both biblical depth and real-world experience to the church. A former police officer and current employee with the Department of Veteran Affairs, Jose embodies what it means to live missionally in the workplace.

Before moving to South Florida, Jose served on a church planting team in Los Angeles, CA, where his love for discipleship and the local church was further ignited. Now based in Miami, he co-leads Influence Miami, giving pastoral oversight to a growing network of house churches across the city. Jose is passionate about helping people encounter Jesus through the Scriptures and live lives of purpose and impact in their spheres of influence.
